Why Microsuction?

At Bourne Earwax Clinic we use the latest microsuction equipment to perform safely and gently on the patients ear when removing a wax build up.

Microsuction is one of the safest methods of removing wax from the Ear Canal by using a tiny vaccum to gently remove wax which is most effective for cleaning your ears without perforating the ear drum or getting water inside the ear, unlike using a water irrigation system. After a Microsuction appointment you can go about your day to day knowing your ears have been cleaned and looked after. 

We also use a video otoscopy which allows us and the client to see inside their ears before & after allowing the customer to leave with peace of mind that we have successfully performed Microsuction. The Video Otoscopy is a great peice of equipment that we use in our clinic and allows us to take photos of the ears should we need to have them on our records for referrals.
